STANLEY COUNTYStanely County has numerous labs(adult and puppy) available. The adoption fee is $75 for dogs and includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, and de-worming. The shelter is open Mon. - Fri. 9:30 - 4:00 and Sat. 10:00 - 12:00 noon. It is located at 1037 Coble Ave. (off Hwy 24/27 Bypass) in Albemarle, NC (35 miles east of Charlotte). The adoptions are first come, first served. They won't hold the dogs for you. If you want to adopt any of these dogs, you would pay for the dog at the shelter. The shelter would take the dog to the vet usually the following morning and you would pick the dog up at the vet's office the afternoon after surgery.
